Summer style
with Rodd & Gunn
piggy

After the long winter months of rugging up, there is something inherently freeing about peeling off the layers with the arrival of summer.

Though the same cycle is repeated year after year, the impending new season never fails to freshly inspire the designers at Rodd & Gunn. This year Rodd & Gunn summer takes its cues from the sublime Cook Islands, or more specifically, the tiny uninhabited One Foot Island that lies surrounded by a picturesque lagoon. This is where the brand’s Summer 16/17 season shoot took place and is a key inspiration for the collection. Drawing from the tropical surroundings, it is no surprise that Rodd & Gunn’s hero fabric is linen — a summer mainstay that is both stylishly relaxed and cool to wear. Linen is woven throughout the range in the form of lightweight shirts, shorts, jackets and unique polo fabrications.

While the collection displays design and fabric innovation, Rodd & Gunn have remained true to their commitment to using the best fabrics sourced from Europe but primarily Italy. So again this season quality is the thread running through the entire collection, along with expert fabric cuts which are evident in the sophisticated, linen blend suits very excited about the upcoming summer season.
